Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov at the Exhibition “Leisure-2015”

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve for the first time took part in the international tourist exhibition “Leisure-2015”, which took place on September, 15–18, 2015, in the exhibition centre “Crocus Expo” in Moscow. The “Leisure” forum is a traditional meeting place of the tourism professionals and is rightly considered to be the main event of the autumn in the field of tourism of Russia and near foreign countries.

This year the partner-country of the forum was Serbia. The exhibition was joined by 68 countries including Argentina, Brazil, Great Britain, Venezuela, Germany, Egypt, India, Spain, Italy, China, Cuba, Morocco, Mexico, Norway and others.

The Russian Federation was represented by 18 regions: Arkhangelsk, Vladimir, Yaroslavl, Kaliningrad, Moscow regions; Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, the republics of the Crimea and Tatarstan, and others.

The sector of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokohov attracted attention of many tour operators and guests of the exhibition, who wish to have a rest in the homeland of M.A.Sholokhov, to learn more about the life and work of the great writer, about the life, traditions and customs of the Don Cossacks. The visitors could learn about the work of the Museum, tours and sights of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, about transport and hotel infrastructures.

The business contacts established by the museum-workers with the representatives of the tourist companies will help to attract more tourists to the homeland of M.A.Sholokhov.
