Shukshin will be Spoken about in Sholokhov Country

The exhibition “Vasily Shukshin. Pages of His Life” has been running in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya since September, 18. This is a joint project of the two museums – the All-Russian Memorial V.M.Shukshin Museum-Reserve and the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.

At the exhibition opening ceremony in the People’s House of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, the welcoming speeches were made by the directors of the two museums Alexander Sholokhov and Lidiya Chudnova, and the exhibition curator Valentina Yeftifeyeva. The first to observe the exhibition were the members of the international scientific and practical conference “Sholokhov Readings”, residents of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and the Museum-Reserve workers.

The exhibition rich in the most interesting exhibits has been attended already by over 600 visitors. It is very popular both with the residents and guests of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. Here are some comments:

The exhibition will run until November, 8, 2015, in the Excursion-Exhibition Centre “People’s House”. We invite all who wants to learn about the life and work of V.M.Shukshin.
