Exhibition “The World of Sholokhov” in Kaliningrad

In the main building of the Museum of the World Ocean in Kaliningrad there takes place an exhibition “The World of Sholokhov” devoted to the life and work of the great Russian writer.
The exhibition of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve presented the items of Cossack everyday life, arms and awards, manuscripts of the writer’s works and the first publications of his books. The memorial objects are particularly valuable.
The exhibition opening ceremony was joined by S.Sivkova, General Director of the Museum of the World Ocean, M.Sergeyeva, a leading specialist of the Kaliningrad Region Ministry of Culture, Y.Korostylyov, Deputy Chieftain for Culture of the Baltic Region. The guests warmly applauded to the local folk groups “Ladushki” and “Kazachiya Zastava” (Cossack Outpost).
The exhibition runs until August, 2, 2015.
