Student Practice in the Museum

The students of the II Course of the Vyoshensky Teacher Training College had their field training in the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov from May, 28, to June, 11.

The practice was aimed at learning about the Museum as an enterprise of tourism and service. It is held annually within the training program of “Tourism” speciality. The students learned about the goals and aims of the Museum, the peculiarity of the museum pedagogics and methodology of holding classes, where interactive areas and museum collections are used.

Having learned the experience of the museum work with children the students successfully gave classes on patchwork ceramics and with the help of the museum teachers they worked out the techniques of developing museum classes.
