Sholokhov Museum will Take Part in the “Intermuseum” Festival
04.06.2015The XVII International Museum Festival “Intermuseum-2015” traditionally joined by the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov will be held on June, 11–15, in Moscow, Central Exhibition Hall “Manezh” (1, Manezh Square).
In our pavilion designed like a Cossack kuren (house) we will demonstrate elements of peaceful life of Cossacks: we will show how to twist a rope on a prosak device, to grind grains in a hand mill, will tell about the traditions of everyday life of the people who for centuries had been standing to guard the borders of Russia.

June, 11 Opening ceremony.
June, 12–14 The best museums of the country gathered in one place will be accessible for the general public.
June, 15, 15:00 Awarding ceremony for the winners of the competition program and the festival closing ceremony.
We invite all the friends of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov and admirers of the talent of the author of the immortal novel “And Quiet Flows the Don” to attend our pavilion and feel the atmosphere, where the love story of Grigory and Aksiniya was being conceived.
