Tarkhany Celebrated the 200th Anniversary of M. Lermontov

On October, 17, the State Lermontov Museum-Reserve “Tarkhany” celebrated the 200th anniversary of the great Russian poet M.Y.Lermontov. The holiday was participated by A.M.Sholokhov, Director of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.

The guests put flowers to the tomb of M.Y.Lermontov, joined the holiday party and theatrical performances “Charm of Days Gone…”and “Tarkhany Wedding”.

The Museum Educational Centre opened the exhibition “Stages of the Short Life”. In the Steward’s House there were held master-classes of the old Tarkhany arts and crafts.
