The Conference on Culture was Held in the Crimea

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve took part in the conference “The Issues of Innovative Development and Informatization of the Cultural Sphere”, which was held in Sudak on October, 9­–­12.

Opening the conference V.Medinsky, Minister of Culture, underlined that “the main purpose of the forum was experience exchange in the sphere of informatization of the branch between specialists and leaders of cultural organizations, formation of the expert community, demonstration of the best achievements and discussion of particular projects showing a broad use of information and communication technologies”, so the talk at the plenary meeting and sections was about the innovation projects realized and about the use of the modern IT-solutions for popularizing of the cultural heritage.

The museum specialists discussed the development trends of the digital information infrastructure, technology of keeping and presentation of museum objects, creation of virtual exhibitions, ways of promoting museums in social networks and other topical questions.
