Sholokhov Museum-Reserve at the Exhibition in Japan

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve for the first time took part in the exhibition “TABIHAKU” Travel Showcase” (JATA-2014), which took place on September, 26–28, in Tokio. This is one of the biggest tour exhibitions in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. It is officially supported by the tourist administration of Tokio city and Japanese association of tour operators.

Traditionally Russia is represented at the exhibition in the joint national stand organized by Rostourism jointly with the tourist association “Borderless World”. There were shown tourist opportunities of the Russian regions, new tourist itineraries, products and projects. The opening ceremony of the JATA exhibition and the work of the Russian national stand were participated by the representatives of the Russian Trade Mission in Japan: V.Lunin, Deputy Director of the Economic Department, V.Balandin, Advisor, and G.Voskanyan, Advisor of the Department of the Rostourism International Cooperation.

Tourists from Japan are much interested in Russian culture, particularly in literature. The workers of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov offered the visitors a variety of recreation options in the country of the Quiet Don and in the homeland of M.A.Sholokhov. Interesting and unusual itineraries about the villages and stanitsas of the Upper Don, new tourist products developed specially for the Japanese tourists, aroused a great interest in the guests and participants of the exhibition.

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve provides all the opportunities for active tourism and relaxing holiday in the nature, for business-tourism and cultural discoveries.
