The Holiday in Sholokhov’s Homestead

During the holidays of “Sholokhov Spring” the house of the writer became a peculiar attraction for the guests. The authentic interior of the house, its special atmosphere left nobody indifferent.

Every year the flow of visitors to the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov grows more. On May days about four thousand people took their tours. On “Sholokhov Spring” holidays the writer’s house was visited by 2182 people. The guests came from different parts of our great country and from abroad: from Moscow, St.Petersburg, Voronezh, Tambov, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Karelia, Taiwan, England and China. The Memorial Estate was visited by folk groups, Sholokhov scholars, writers, doctors, sportsmen, military men, journalists, workers of culture, schoolchildren and students.
