Actress Lyudmila Zaitseva Visited the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov

Shooting the film on the novel “And Quiet Flows the Don” by M.A.Sholokhov began in Stanitsa Yelanskaya on June, 1. On the first filming day the House and Estate of M.A.Sholokhov were visited by Lyudmila Vasiliyevna Zaitseva, an actress of the Soviet and Russian Cinema, the People’s Actress of the RSFSR (1989), the USSR State Prize winner (1983). In the new screen version she will perform the role of Ilyinichna.

The actress listened to the narration about the life of M.A.Sholokhov with great attention. She put flowers to the tombs of the writer and his wife. In memory of visiting the house of M.A.Sholokhov Lyudmila Zaitseva made an entry in the Guest Book:

“I am very thankful to my friends, countrymen and “the guardians” of Sholokhov’s “nest” for the memory and love for your great countryman. I admire all seen and heard! Thank you!
