Getting into the World of Sholokhov’s Art
17.04.2014Before the writer’s birthday, Sholokhov Museum-Reserve held a traditional annual contest “Our Sholokhov” for the students of Bokovsky, Verkhnedonskoy and Sholokhov districts. It was organized by the educational departments of those districts.
This year, about 300 children submitted to the jury their drawings, handicraft articles after Sholokhov’s works and on the Upper Don household culture and performed dramatic reading of excerpts from the writer’s works. 22 students from 74 winners became medalists in the nominations: dramatic reading, fine art, arts and crafts. Each of the participants embodied the images of Sholokhov’s works and conveyed the message of the author.
Once again the children turned to the art of the great writer of the XX century, our countryman M.A.Sholokhov.
