NewsBack to the Era of Lermontov12.02.2014An interactive museum class “Unknown Lermontov” based on the exhibition materials from the State Lermontov Museum-Reserve “Tarkhany” was held in the Excursion and Exhibition Centre “The People’s House” for schoolchildren of the Sholokhov District. The exhibition is devoted to the 200th anniversary of the great Russian poet celebrated this year. The children learned that Lermontov was not only a brilliant poet, but also an artist, musician, mathematician and a brave warrior. While watching the film from the museum “Tarkhany” the children learned about the childhood of Misha Lermontov, took a virtual tour to the estate of E.A.Arsenyeva, his grandmother, then they examined with interest the childhood drawings of the would-be poet, a chalk of the XIX century and coloured wax for modeling. The children were particularly delighted with the active game “Baba-Yaga”, which young Misha Lermontov liked to play; they tried crambo and quill pen writing. Such an immersion into Lermontov era enabled the children of learning more about the poet and better understanding his creative work. Oksana Turchina |
