Museum Classes for Kruzhilin Schoolchildren

On February, 6, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov held visiting museum classes for the students of Kruzhilin school.

The senior students attended the classes, where they learned about the public and Deputy activities of M.A.Sholokhov, the writer’s love for nature and his contribution into its preservation, about the history, culture and traditions of the Upper Don Cossacks. The junior students took part in the interactive game “Visiting Don Cossacks”.

With enthusiasm the children made rag dolls, clay candlesticks, “restored” a paper document – a letter. All the classes were interesting and fruitful. The children got the articles and souvenirs made by themselves.

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov cooperates closely with educational institutions joining the children to the work of the great Russian writer and expanding their knowledge of the everyday life and spiritual culture of Cossacks, the main hero of Sholokhov’s works.
