The Wanderer with a Russian Soul

The exhibition “The Wanderer with a Russian Soul. M.Y.Lermontov. The Fate of the Poet and Warrior” from the collection of the State Lermontov Museum-Reserve “Tarkhany” is going to open on November, 15, 2013, in the Excursion- Exhibition Centre “The People’s House”.

The exhibition will tell the visitors about the life and work of the great Russian poet Mikhail Lermontov. The layout will display the lifetime and posthumous editions by Mikhail Yriyevich, books by A.S.Pushkin, I.F.Shiller, I.V.Goethe published in the first half of the XIX century and loved by the poet, as well as objects of everyday life of the manor, duelling pistols and copies of paintings by M.Y.Lermontov made by contemporary artists.

The exhibition will run until February, 24, 2013.
