Sholokhov Museum is Awarded the Prize “Alexander Nevsky”

The National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve has become the winner of the all-Russian historical and literary prize “Alexander Nevsky” for the project “Open Air Novel” presented for the contest of the museum memorial projects.

This prize has been awarded annually for 9 years. This year, 90 museum projects competed for the main awards. Nine of them entered in the Selected List. The First place was given to the project of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov, the Second place was given to the Museum-Reserve “Gatchina” (Leningrad Region), the Third place – to the Directorate “Military and Historical Museums” (Bulgaria), the authors of other projects were marked by special prizes.

The historical and literary prize “Alexander Nevsky” is an open creative contest aimed at maintaining interest of our compatriots for the history of our Country, for the best museum memorial projects and literary works devoted to the heroes of our history and their deeds for the glory of our Motherland.
