Journalists Visited Sholokhov Museum

On August, 15–16, the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov was visited by the journalists of the federal and regional mass media, members of the press-tour organized by the Southern Department of the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Rostov Region Ministry of Culture before holding in the Don region the XII All-Russian Congress of the Heritage Institute of History and Culture.
Antecedently, the pressmen visited a number of regional museums and a finishing touch before the forum of the Heritage Institution of History and Culture was the tour about the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve, the only federal museum in the Rostov Region. Such visits provide an opportunity of learning more about the sights and a deeper understanding of the problems of cultural heritage preservation.
The guests of Sholokhov Museum were the members of the journals, newspapers, TV-channel “Yuzhny Region”, Internet project 161.ru. They went sightseeing about the region of Sholokhov, visited the sites of the Museum-Reserve in Vyoshenskaya, Karghinskaya, Kruzhilin Village, viewed the exhibitions, had a ride in the machine-gun cart and tasted traditional Cossack cuisine.
This immersion in the life of the Museum gave the reporters a vivid impression which they will certainly reflect in their publications for the widest audience.
