The Fourth Film Adaptation of the Novel “The Quiet Don” is being Prepared
10.07.2013“Rossiya” TV channel started a preparatory work on the film adaptation of the novel ”The Quiet Don” by M.A.Sholokhov. The scenario is set up for a 12-part film; some of the episodes will be filmed in the area of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya.
On June, 28-29, the stanitsa was visited by the film director Serghei Ursulyak. He met with the Director of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve, A.M.Sholokhov. They went to the sites of the future film set and talked over the possibilities of the joint work.
S.Ursulyak and the members of his working group visited the Museum sites.
