“Sholokhov Readings-2013” will Take Place in September

On September, 11–13, 2013, an International Scientific-Practical Conference “Modern Study in the Creative Work of M.A.Sholokhov: Problems, Concepts, Approaches” is going to take place in the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya the Rostov region.

The main directions of the conference:

-    New approaches to the study in the creative work of M.A.Sholokhov.
-    Modern interpretations of Sholokhov’s works and images.
-    Directions and prospects of the study in the biography, creative and social activity of M.A.Sholokhov.
-    The study of the creative work of M.A.Sholokhov at the university and secondary school.
-    M.A.Sholokhov: foreign and native literary criticism in the XX–XXI centuries.
-    The history of the novel by M.A.Sholokhov “They Fought for Their Country”. ( For the 70^th anniversary of the start date of the first chapters of the novel ”They Fought for Their Country”. 

The application deadline is August, 19, 2013.
