A Cossack without Faith is not a Cossack

The exhibition which is going to be held in the Excursion and Exhibition Centre “The People’s House” of the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve on February, 8, will tell the visitors about the attitude of the Cossacks to Orthodoxy and spiritual traditions in the Don region.

The exposition displays a unique collection of religious items from the Starocherkassk Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve.

The visitors will see old icons, rare books, vestments of the priests, church utensils and learn more about the history of religion in Russia and in the Don region.

The exhibition will work from February, 8, till April, 14, 2013.
