Classes at the Estate of M.A. Sholokhov for the Rostov Schoolchildren

The pupils of the Rostov school “Evrika-Razvitiye” took classes at the Estate of M.A. Sholokhov in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya.

The theme of the class “Guests  of  the  Estate of M.A. Sholokhov” aroused interest in the pupils. They learned, that the house of M.A. Sholokhov always united the Sholokhovs’ big, friendly and very hospitable family. During the writer’s life there were many friends, relatives, it was also visited by publishers, writers, scientists, workers, who admired the art of M.A. Sholokhov, district and regional leaders, the people who came to Mikhail Alexandrovich as a deputy with various requests. Most warmly the writer accepted schoolchildren, students, young people. M.A. Sholokhov did not spare his time to talk with them.

The pupils of the “Evrika-Razvitiye” school learned about those meetings, viewed photographs from the Museum collection about M.A. Sholokhov and his guests. The class was held on the famous terrace, where the writer often met his guests.
