THE MUSEUM- RESERVE OF M.A.SHOLOKHOV INVITES FOR PARTICIPATION IN “SHOLOKHOV READINGS-2012”

International scientific – practical conference “Up-to-Date Studies in the  Аrt of M.A. Sholokhov: Problems, Conceptions, Approaches” will be held on September,4-6, in Stanitsa Vyoshenkaya the Rostov Region.

The main topics of the conference:
-         New approaches to the study in the art of  M.A. Sholokhov;
-         Contemporary interpretations of Sholokhov’s works and images:
-         Trends and prospects of the studies in the biography, art and social activity of M.A. Sholokhov.
-         The Great Patriotic War in the art of Sholokhov (for the 55^th anniversary of the first publication of the story “The Fate of a Man”).
-         Studies in the art of M.A. Sholokhov in high and secondary  school.
-         M.A. Sholokhov: foreign and home literary criticism of the XX-XXI centuries.
-         “Sholokhov Encyclopaedia” and prospects in the study of the literary topography.

Enrollment deadline is August,12,2012

A book of scientific papers will be published after the conference. The texts for publication are to be submitted in electronic and printed form.

Requirements to the article for publication: 

1. The initials and surname of the author are to be typed in lowercase letters in bold.
2. The titles are to be typed in lowercase letters in the centre of the line.
3. The title is to be followed by a blank line.
4. The font to be used is Times New Roman, 14 pt, one and half line spacing.
5. Indentation is to be 1.25 sm.
6. Margins: top and bottom margins are 2 sm, left margin is 3 sm, right margin is 1.5 sm.
7. Intra- and footnotes are not allowed.
8. The list of references is to be made in accordance with the numbering of the references in the text.
9. At the end of the article the title is centred: References or References and Notes.
10. The article size allowed is up to 10 pages.

The conference will take place in the “People’s House”,66,Podtyolkov Street.
