NewsWelcome to the Quiet Don!23.03.2012National Sholokhov Museum-Reserve took part in the VII International Tourist Exhibition “Intourmarket – 2012”, which was held on March, 17-20, in the exhibition centre “Crocus Expo” under Moscow. At the opening ceremony the members of the exhibition were greeted by the Minister of sport, tourism and youth politics Vitaly Mutko and General Secretary of the UNO World Tourist Organization Taleb Rifai. Traditionally the regions of Russia were paid a greater attention. By no chance the slogan of the “Intourmarket – 2012” was “Time for Rest Making in Russia!” The Head of the Federation Council Committee on social politics V. Ryazansky, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs I. Margulov, the Head of the Federal Tourism Agency A. Radkov, other officials, spoke about the necessity of maintaining the Russian tourism and called for providing a better care of raising the tour service quality of the Russian tour companies and more comfortable conditions for rest-making by our people and foreign guests. The regions of the country presented their touring opportunities, national peculiarities, places of sights. The Museum-Reserve of M.A. Sholokhov was introduced as part of the exposition of the Rostov Region. The museum-workers made a presentation of the Museum activity, informed the tour companies about the tour programs, current prices, the transport and hotel infrastructure. The visitors were much attracted by the advertising and information materials – electronic visiting cards, booklets, guidebooks in Russian and in English. The exhibition “Intourmarket – 2012” was organized purposely for effective advancement of Russia at the international and home markets to display the whole potential of the tourist Russia. Participation of the Museum-Reserve in the exhibition of such a scale promotes the streams of Russian and foreign tourists, who wish to visit the country of the Quiet Don. Viktor Boldyrev |
