Jubilee Concert of “Zarnitsa”

On December, 10, Saturday, after four in the afternoon, Vyoshenskaya looked depopulated. The noise of the traffic ceased, passers – by disappeared from the streets…
A jubilee concert of the People’s folk group “Zarnitsa” of the State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve was held in the stanitsa’s House of Culture. The house was overcrowded. The program was called “For the Jubilee Shcherba to “Zarnitsa” (shcherba is a fish soup). Many guests came from Rostov-on-Don, the Voronezh Region, Stanitsa Bokovskaya, other places.
“Zarnitsa” sang and danced excellently and showed their wonderful theatrical mastery in the scenes “Cossacks at Fishing (jubilee shcherba)”, “Before Guests Coming”, “Cossack Ball”.
The audience was impressed by a unique accordion playing of Venglevskiy, a country-folk sounding of the group “Vereya”, the song of 82-year old Anastasiya Ivonina.
The concert issued in “Barynya” dance performed by all the participants followed by a holiday firework.
We look forward to meeting these wonderful groups and performers at the holiday “Sholokhov Spring – 2012”.
