The Museum Presented New Programs in Berlin

The State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve presented its new programs in Berlin at the International exhibition of tourism ITB (Internationale Tourismus Börse), which is the most important ground for setting up commercial connections, presentation of new services and communication.

The fair pavilions under the Berlin television tower Funkturm gathered more than 11 thousand exhibitors from 188 countries. The Russian delegation joint stand, with the total exposition area of 410 sq.m, demonstrated the recreation opportunities, tourist programs, accommodation resources and cultural heritage of our country. The exposition showed the visitors the tourist business potential of the Rostov, Volgograd, Kaluga, Irkutsk and Leningrad regions, Kamchatka, Krasnoyarsk districts, the Khakassiya Republic, Ekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Saint Petersburg.

The State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve held a presentation of event tourism programs, tours for children and students for tour companies and visitors.

During the round-table talks the main trends in the international tourism development were discussed.

The exhibition “ITB Berlin – 2011” showed, that the tourist market becomes more international and diverse.
