NewsThe Contest “Our Sholokhov”17.04.2010The Museum-Reserve held the 25th annual contest for schoolchildren “Our Sholokhov”, devoted to the writer’s birthday. The aim of the contest was spreading the Sholokhov heritage and bringing along patriotism in the young generation. The schoolchildren presented their work in three nominations – artistic reciting, ornamental art and fine art. The creative competition took two days – on April, 15, in Karghinskaya school of the Bokovskiy District, and on April, 16, in the “People’s House” of the Museum-Reserve in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. The best reciters were recognized E. Mikhailova from the secondary school of the Vyoshenskiy Teacher Training College, P. Likhovidova from the Sholokhov school, A. Zhukov from the Vyoshenskaya school named after M.I. Platov, K. Grosheva from Karghinskaya, M. Arkhipova from Grachovskaya, Y. Gurova from Kalinovskaya schools. The children mere inspired to recite the abstracts from Sholokhov’s works, trying to render the feelings of Nakhalyonok, Vanyushka, Aksiniya, Nataliya, Lopakhin and other characters. The young artists and masters of the ornamental art amazed with their fantasy, rich colours, imagination, keenness of observation. The subject of Sholokhov is close and interesting for the children. Among the best works there were illustrations and articles of E. Karghina from the House of Children’s Creative work of the Bokovskiy District, D. Martynov, K. Labzin, A. Sizentseva from the secondary school of the Vyoshenskaya Teacher Training College, A. Kaplun from the Sholokhov School, D. Antamonova from Bolshenapolovskaya, K. Glukhova, V. Emukhvari and A. Anikeyeva from Karghinskaya, T. Dolmatova and E. Soloshenko from Bazkovskaya, M. Afanasiyeva from Dudarevskaya schools. The children were rewarded with free tickets for the puppet show “The Foal” of the Rostov Puppet Theatre named after V. Bylkov, and for visiting the exhibitions at the Museum “People’s House” and the stable. L. Volodina |
