News“The Boundless World”19.04.2010The State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve takes an active part in Russian and foreign exhibitions which are good grounds for wide publicity of the new projects joined by the conception of “The Open Air Novel”. On April, 16-18, in Rostov-on-Don, the XIII International Festival of Tourism and Rest “The Boundless World” took place, where the Museum presented tourist and excursion itineraries as well as new schemes in tourindustry – a rural and social tourism. The museum-workers took part in the joint session of the interdepartmental coordination council on tourism of the Rostov Region and the working group on framing the regional long-term program of tourism development in the Rostov Region for 2011-2013, which was guided by the deputy governor of the Rostov Region, the chairman of the tourism council A.L. Noskov. The representatives of small and middle business undertakings and tourism of the Rostov Region, the territorial office of the Federal service on supervision of consumer rights protection and well-being of man, the sanitary and epidemiological service, the state motor licencing and inspection department, tourist companies, museums, theatres, as well as the district leaders and their deputies expressed their opinions about the Don tourism peculiarities. The problem of hospitality industry development is topical for the Sholokhov District which is annually attended by thousands of tourists. It is necessary to solve the problems of preserving the cultural and historic appearance of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and the neighbouring villages, to provide comfortable recreation conditions with a high quality service for the guests from different parts of Russia and abroad, organize informational and advertisement tours. The State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve and the Sholokhov District Administration intend to solve these problems in close cooperation to attract more tourists and visitors. Y. Dyomin |
