The Jubilee “Sholokhov Spring” for the 105th Anniversary of the Writer

In the year of the 105th anniversary of Mikhail Aleksandrovich Sholokhov the 25th jubilee “Sholokhov Spring” took place in his native land.
This festivity has its history, traditions. For the first time it was held on May, 24, 1985, on the day of the 80th anniversary of Sholokhov on the initiative of the residents of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya and the first director of the Sholokhov Museum Nikolay Aleksandrovich Bulavin. Since 1987 the holiday has become all-Russian and in 1990 it had got a status of international.
This year the “Sholokhov Spring” was held on May, 21-22, and on the 24th of May the residents and guests of Vyoshenskaya put flowers to his tomb.
