The Museum is Going to Be Encreasingly Visited

The State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve took part in the work of the 17^th Moscow International exhibition “Travels and Tourism”, which took place on March, 17-20, at the exhibition complex “Expocentre”. It helped to offer new tourist programs, tell about the Sholokhov District, its history, culture and traditions to amateur travellers from all over the world and tour professionals.

The exhibition presented the tour agents from Russia, CIS, Europe, Asia, Africa, America. Particular expositions were devoted to organizing river cruises and new information technologies used in tourism.

The workers of the State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve and the Rostov tour company “Reina-Tour NTV” held a joint presentation of the tours, programs, itineraries and tourist potential of the Don district.

Within the exhibition program there were held the conferences: “Tourism in Russia: Opportunities for Development”, “Information Technologies in Tourism”, master-classes for all comers. These sessions are sure to give a new impulse for the museum workers activity to improve its efficacy and increase in the flow of visitors.
