Presentation of a New Book about Sholokhov
21.05.2009On May, 23, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Central Library of Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya a presentation of the book by Alexander Gavrilov “The Bukanovskaya Period of Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov” will take place.
The author of the book is a young researcher in the creative work of M.A. Sholokhov, a historian, an assistant of the President of the group of companies “AgroZemInvest” P. Kosov, he is connected with the Upper Don by his ancestral roots. In his research A. Gavrilov, relying on the lifetime facts of Sholokhov’s contemporaries tells about the wedding ceremony of the writer in the Bukanovskaya chuch, about his plans of “conquering” the capital and his creative intentions.
