“Sholokhov Spring” in the World Net”

On May, 23, 2009, from 8.15 till 24.00 on the site www.cultureonline.ru there was carried out an online translation of the all-Russia literary and folklore holiday “Sholokhov Spring”, and the Internet users could become real participants of the people’s holiday-making, devoted to the 104^th birthday anniversary of M.A. Sholokhov.

Just one click of the mouse transferred the admirers of the creative work of the Nobel Prize laureate, lovers of folklore and simply curious people from all parts of the world to the bank of the river Don into Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. Together with the guests of the holiday they could “have a walk” about “the Town of Artisans”, listen to mirthful Cossack songs, go sightseeing of the structures of the State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.

The number of the site users had significantly increased when a gala concert began, followed by the fireworks, which for a quarter of an hour had been ulluminating the riversides of the Don.
