The Action “Flowerbed of the Museums Friendship” is Going on
17.07.2009On the days of the centenary celebration of M.A. Sholokhov our Museum-Reserve in Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya was presented with flower plants from different museums of Russia and near foreign countries. Now they all grow in the “Flowerbed of the Museums Friendship” which is laid near the Administrative and Information Centre of the Museum.
The workers of the Museum department of garden and park art are careful to look after the flowerbed, and the residents and guests of Vyoshenskaya can admire the original and rich blooming of the flowers and learn where they came from to the native land of Sholokhov.
We are glad to have on the territory of our Museum the flowers from the parks and gardens of the museums we collaborate with, and would like to widen the circle of our friends.
Dear colleagues, please, send and bring to Vyoshenskaya shortsized perennial flower cultures, drought-resisting and frost-hardy. They will be a fine complement to the Flowerbed of the Museums Friendship, thus embracing the museum-workers from different parts of the country.
