Photoexhibition “On the Don We are Staying! The Don We are Glorifying!” on the Land of Tula

On the 1^st of September, 2009, a joint photoexhibition of the State-Museum-Reserve “Kulikovo Pole” and the State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve “On the Don We are Staying! The Don We are Glorifying!” began working on the land of Tula in the Bogoroditsk Palace-Museum.

The cooperation of the two museum-reserves have been continuing for many years and gives an impulse for joint projects interesting for the wide public.

The Great Don, which embodied the Tula and Rostov regions, became the subject of the creative work of the two photoartists – Roman Solopov from Tula and Karp Pashiniyan from Rostov. Their joint photoexhibition, prepared by the workers of the State Museum-Reserve “Kulikovo Pole” and the  State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve reflects the parallels in the historic and cultural heritage of the two regions.

The exhibition “On the Don We are Staying! The Don We are Glorifying!” was displayed in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. It will work in the Bogoroditsk  Museum till October, 28,2009.
