At the World Travel Market in London

The museum-workers of the State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve as members of the Rostov Region delegation took part in the annual exhibition of the World Travel Market-2008 which was held in November, from 10 till 13, in the capital of Great Britain at the great complex of ExCel.

The exhibition was attended by 50 000 travel trade professionals from more than 200 countries. It was a unique opportunity for the tour industry professionals from all over the world to meet, make business contacts, have talks, strike bargains.

The work of the WTM-2008 is clear to show how people of different outlook, skin colour, speaking different languages achieve mutual comprehension and get to profitable cooperation.

On the first day the exhibition hall of the Rostov Region displaying the information about the Museum-Reserve was attended by Francesco Frangialli, the General Secretary of the World Travel Organization, Natella Shenghelia, the Deputy Head of the Federal Agency of Travelling of the RF, and the Russian ambassador in Great Britain Yuriy Fedotov.  Our museum exhibits aroused much interest of the visitors from Greece, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Kazakhstan.

The deputy Head of the State M.A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve Y.N. Dyomin said that participating in the world travel forum gave a chance to support a high competitive ability of the museum, to learn more about the latest events in this field.
