NewsThe Sholokhov State Museum-Reserve - a Laureate of Y. Senkevich National Tourist Prize29.09.2008The Sholokhov State Museum – Reserve has become a laureate of the National Tourist Prize named after Y. Senkevich in the nomination of “The Best Regional Museum”. This prize was established by the Federal Agency of Tourism in 2002 to encourage the achievements in the development of tour industry, to improve the quality of service, to stimulate the development of cultural-cognitive, ecological, sanitational and other kinds of tourism in the Russian Federation. At present the Prize of Y. Senkevich is a prestigeous, respectful and the only non-commercial reward in the field of tourism. The Prize rewarding ceremony took place on September, 26, 2008, the day before the International Tourist Day in Moscow at the “President-Hotel” in 18 nominations. At the ceremony the Sholokhov State Museum-Reserve was represented by A.M. Sholokhov, the headmaster of the museum, Y.N. Dyomin, the deputy-head of the museum on business and cultural relations.
