Exhibition of New Year’s Post Cards at the Estate of Mikhail Sholokhov

In the memorial house on the estate of Mikhail Sholokhov there opened an exhibition of New Year's postcards "Happy New Year! ..". It presents postcards, which were sent in large numbers to Mikhail Sholokhov in the stanitsa Vyoshenskaya on the eve of the New Year holidays. 

The writer was congratulated by family and friends, government officials, cultural and art workers, heads of publishing houses. Numerous admirers of the writer's work from all corners of our big country and from abroad sent New Year's greetings. The exhibition, which opens for the fifth time this year, has been supplemented with new copies of the postcards to Mikhail Sholokhov: from Nigeria, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia. 

Visitors will be able to see postcards signed by the writer with warmth and humor to his loved ones. 

The exhibition, which has already become traditional, gains great success among our visitors. Colorful postcards that were printed in large quantities in 1950-80 years based on sketches by famous artists, will not leave anyone indifferent. 

Our visitors will be able to take part in the museum project "With Love from the Sholokhov’s’ House!" - send a warm New Year's greetings to your loved ones on a retro postcard from the memorial house on the estate of Mikhail Sholokhov. 

The exhibition "Happy New Year!..." will run till January 15, 2021.
