Let's Make Our Land Cleaner Together

17.08.2020

On August 17, 2020, employees of the National Sholokhov Museum-Reserve held an action "Clean Land" on the territory of the sculptural composition "Eagle". The guests of the museum, who came to get acquainted with the sights of the Sholokhov region, also joined it.

A wonderful family from Rostov first took part in a number of museum excursions to objects associated with the name of Mikhail Sholokhov, and then happily walked along the path "The World of the Sholokhov Steppe", played environmental games. The guests also decided to contribute to environmental protection, so they actively joined cleaning the area around the composition "Eagle", which rises at the entrance to the stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. The participants of the environmental task force removed the accumulated debris here.

Volunteer actions to restore order in the territories of actively visited objects of the museum are held regularly. Anyone who appreciates and loves the Don region can take part in them. Such actions are aimed at attracting people's attention to the problems of environmental pollution, at developing the skills of young people to respect nature. By conducting such actions, we preserve clean and beautiful nature around us. We hope that both local residents and tourists who come to see the amazingly beautiful Sholokhov places will be able to appreciate the work of the environmental task force and will take good care of nature, observing cleanliness and order.

“There is a rule: I got up in the morning, washed myself, put myself in order and immediately put my planet in order ...” (Antoine de Saint-Exupery “The Little Prince”). Let's follow this rule!
