Zakhar Prilepin in Vyoshenskaya

On July 15, Zakhar Prilepin, a Russian writer, publicist, public figure, author of the novels "Pathology", "Sin", "Abode", "Some Will Not Go to Hell" and many other works, visited the stanitsa Vyoshenskaya. 

Zakhar noted that he was delighted with the work of the great Russian writer Mikhail Sholokhov, considers his works to be the property of world culture. Zakhar Prilepin fell in love with the steppe expanses, the Don River in his youth.

Currently, he is working on a book dedicated to Mikhail Sholokhov, so his trips to Sholokhov's places are not just of a tourist nature. Zakhar is interested in the history of Cossack stanitsas and farms, described in the works of Mikhail Sholokhov, monuments of architecture and nature of the Don region, the history of temples and churches. 

The writer visited the Estate of Mikhail Sholokhov, bowed to the grave of the classic of Russian literature.

In the future Zakhar Prilepin plans to visit the farm Kruzhilinsky, the Estate where Mikhail Sholokhov was born and visit the museum complex in the stanitsa Karginskaya.
