Sholokhov Vuseum-Reserve Resumes Excursion Service

Since June 22, 2020 the Sholokhov Museum-Reserve resumes the provision of excursion services in the open air in connection with the next relaxation of restrictive measures in the Rostov region. When visiting the museum territory you must still have a mask with you and observe the social distance regime.

Now visitors can enjoy excursions around the following sites:

- “Estate of Mikhail Sholokhov "and" Old House of Mikhail Sholokhov "(1928-1935) in the stanitsa Vyoshenskaya;

- “Memorial estate of the Sholokhovs” and “Mill complex” in the stanitsa Karginskaya;

- “Parental estate of Mikhail Sholokhov "and" Cossack Compound" in the farm Kruzhilinsky;

- Museum Stable.

In addition, the work of sightseeing and nature excursions resumes:

- "Lebyazhiy Yar";

- "Vyoshensky oak";

- “The World of the Sholokhov Steppe”;

- "Spring Otrog";

- “With Melekhov to the Forest Lake”;

- "Sightseeing tour of the stanitsa Vyoshenskaya."

We invite the youngest visitors to stay under a cozy awning on the courtyard of the Children's Museum Center in the stanitsa Vyoshenskaya at Sholokhov str., 101. Here, under the guidance of experienced mentors, master classes “Miracles from clay”, “A doll knitted with a bast”, “Painting a wooden spoon”, “Don souvenir”, “Insect in a pocket” and others are available again.

Museum stables are ready to meet lovers of ethnographic and active tourism. Now not only tours of its territory are available, but also horse rental, master classes and colorful photo shoots with horses.
