NewsInclusive Program of the Sholokhov Museum-Reserve - in the Top-5 of the Competition “Inclusive Museum”01.04.2020Project of the Sholokhov Museum-Reserve “About me, a Cossack and a horse” (leader - Lidia Slyusarenko) has been included in the short list of the most powerful and promising, according to the jury of the grant competition for the project “Inclusive Museum”. The grant competition is being implemented by the Russian Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Russia) together with the “Ferris Wheel”, an autonomous non-profit organization, with the support of the Sberbank Charity Fund “Contribution to the Future”. Its goal is to identify and support the best museum programs that help socialization, creative expression and career guidance of children with mental development problems. This year, 99 projects were submitted to participate in the competition. Project of the Sholokhov Museum-Reserve is intended for children of 6-18 years old with mental disabilities. It is aimed at socialization, strengthening the psychoemotional and physical health of children and their parents and is a logical continuation of the program created in 2019 to organize an accessible environment and cultural leisure for young visitors to the Sholokhov Museum Reserve with the peculiarities of the development of “Lazoriki. Towards the Sun. ” Grant competition experts will provide the staff of the Sholokhov Museum-Reserve with free consulting support on creating a "social history" of the project, as well as provide letters of recommendation that can help in finding partners and interested participants for the implementation of the development "About me, a Cossack and a horse." Ahead of us is an interesting work to improve our ideas and plans.
