Heroes of Sholohov’s Works in Lipetsk

February 27, 2020 in the Lipetsk Regional Art Museum will open the exhibition "Mikhail Sholokhov: about the Homeland, about Russia, about the Don", which will feature works by famous artists from the collections of the museum-reserve. 

Residents and guests of Lipetsk will see illustrations for the Sholokhov’s books of remarkable graphic masters - O.G. Vereisky, Yu.P. Rebrov, V.L. Galdyaev, V.M. Baklanov, N.V. Usachev, Kukryniksy. Each of the illustrators is unique in style of drawing, and finely depicted episodes from “The Don Stories”, “And Quiet Flows the Don”, “The Virgin Soil Upturned”, “The Fate of a Man”, “They Fought for the Country”. 

Illustrations of Sholokhov's works will immerse visitors in a bright world of Mikhail Sholokhov and will provide an opportunity for a new reading of the Sholokhov’s books.

The exhibition will work in Lipetsk from February 27 to April 5, 2020.
