VII International Scientific and Practical Conference: “Museum-Reserve: Ecology and Culture”

From October 8 to October 10, 2019 the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference: “Museum-Reserve: Ecology and Culture” takes place in the National Sholokhov Museum-Reserve.

The event will bring together experts from museum-reserves, national parks, scientific institutions and organizations related to the study and comprehensive protection of cultural and natural heritage.

The main directions and issues of the conference:

• Museumification and problems of preservation of objects of historical and cultural heritage: unique natural complexes and landscapes, monuments, ensembles, places of interest;
• Environmental education in national parks, educational institutions and museum reserves;
• Environmental monitoring, rational nature management, study and protection of flora and fauna in the territory of national parks, museums, reserves and other specially protected natural areas;
• Garden art and forestry;
• Literary ecology: the depiction of man and nature in the works of writers from Russia and the near abroad;
• Master class on determining the current state of trees;
• Presentation of the ecological game "From the Giant Oak to the Sand Barrow."

On October 10, together with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Rostov Region, a round table will be held on the topic: "Ecological tourism: formation, problems and development prospects."

Following the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific articles.
