NewsExhibition “The Study and the World of the Writer” in the Museum-Estate of Alexey Tolstoy03.10.2019On September 30, 2019, at the Alexey Tolstoy Museum-Estate, structurally part of the Samara Literary and Memorial Museum named after Maxim Gorky, the unique mobile exhibition “The Study and the World of the Writer” was opened. This photo exhibition is an inter-museum exhibition project under the auspices of the Association of Literary Museums of the Union of Russian Museums. The curator of the project is the National Sholokhov Museum-Reserve. The exhibition presents photographs of Karp Pashinyan, the Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, a member of the Union of Journalists and the Union of Designers of Russia, a photographer-consultant of the Sholokhov Museum-Reserve. In the works through the interior of the office he talks about the great Russian writers and poets who lived and worked from the eighteenth to the twentieth century, from Derzhavin to Sholokhov. At the opening of the exhibition guests had the opportunity to test their intuition and guess the owner of the office only from the photograph. Instead of the usual labels there were color labels that refer to the table in the center of the exhibition hall. On this table there were facts about writers and subjects related to their works. The visitor was invited to guess where his office was. On a separate design behind the colored doors there were the correct answers and annotation texts. The Museum-Estate of Alexey Tolstoy is the only city wooden estate preserved in Samara. Here is a memorial apartment where Alexey Tolstoy's parents and he lived. The exposition is dedicated to the life and work of the famous writer, author of the popular fairy tale "A Golden Key or the Adventures of Pinocchio." The exhibition "The Study and the World of the Writer" will work in the Museum-Estate of Alexey Tolstoy from September 30 to November 4, 2019.
