Annual Conference "Sholokhov Readings"

September 11-13, the excursion and exhibition center “People’s House” will again open its doors for the participants of the XXI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Study of Mikhail Sholokhov work at the present stage: problems, concepts, approaches” (“Sholokhov Readings”). The conference combines the efforts of researchers of life and work of Mikhail Sholokhov (literary scholars, cultural scientists, researchers, teachers, graduate students, undergraduates, students), aimed at studying the creative heritage of Mikhail Sholokhov, pages of his biography, world recognition of Sholokhov, modern interpretations of his works, the Don Cossacks.

The speakers will be employees of the Gorky Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences, International Baltic Academy, Southern Federal University, Moscow City Pedagogical University, Belgorod State University, Voronezh State University, Tyumen State University, Lugansk National University named after T. Shevchenko, Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi (Azerbaijan), teachers of schools in Rostov-on-Don, employees of the Sholokhov Museum-Reserve. The round table concluding the conference will be devoted to the scientific commenting on the creative heritage of Mikhail Sholokhov.

At the end of the conference, a collection with the reports of the participants will be released.
