“Sholokhov. Nobel Triumph” in the Crimea

National Sholokhov Museum-Reserve opened the exhibition “Sholokhov. Nobel triumph " in the house of Andrey Beketov in the museum of Serghey Sergheev-Tsensky.

The exhibition tells the visitor about the life and work of the writer, the fate of his main work - the novel "And Quiet Flows the Don ", a high international appreciation of the writer's work, which found expression in the award of the Nobel Prize.

At the opening ceremony, there spoke the museums directors: Valery Tsygannik and Olga Anistratenko. The honorary guests of the exhibition were: State Duma Deputy Alexander Sholokhov and Head of the department of museum, library and education in the field of culture Elena Grigoryevna Emirova.

This event attracted great attention of both local residents and vacationers in the Crimea.

The exhibition will run until September 16, 2019.
