The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov Takes Part in the “Summer School of Inclusive Practices”

The Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov will take part in the “Summer School of Inclusive Practices” held within the program “Accessible Museum” of the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S.Pushkin during July 1–7, 2019, in Moscow.

The “Summer School of Inclusive Practices” is purposed to give an additional opportunity for the museum specialists, members of the inclusive and educational projects to learn about the topical techniques, museum visiting programs developed for the visitors with special needs. The program “Summer School of Inclusive Practices” involves theoretical and practical classes for children and adults with mental disorders, features of visual perception and with deaf and hearing impaired visitors.

The program “Accessible Museum” and the inclusive trend of development of the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S.Pushkin will be presented by Yevgeniya Kiselyova, head of the department for inclusive programs of the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S.Pushkin; the tasks and the most important tasks of the tour for visually impaired visitors will be spoken about by Olga Morozova, head of the department for aesthetic education; an architectural accessibility and formation of a barrier-free environment in the museum – a monument of architecture – will be spoken about by Natalya Krutilina, head of the development department. Besides, the participants of the “Summer School of Inclusive Practices” will have master-classes in the print studio, ceramic workshops, practical classes in the workshop of Eduard Shteinberg.

The experience of the “Summer School of Inclusive Practices” will be used in the inclusive programs of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov.
