Our Eternal Grief…

25.06.2019

On June 20 and 21, commemorative events dedicated to one of the saddest for our country dates – the 78th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War took place in the excursion and exhibition centre “People’s House”.

The literary and musical composition “Our Eternal Grief…” through the memoirs of the veterans, residents of the Sholokhov District, front-line newspapers, photos, military newsreel footage told the viewers about the war, about the defence of Vyoshenskaya and liberation of the district from German fascist invaders. The composition told about the force of the Russian national spirit, moral stamina and ability to self-sacrifice for the salvation of the Fatherland.

The children learned that over 13 thousand Cossack men and women of Vyoshenskaya went to the front. Every other soldier did not return, died protecting the native land.

The heroes of the performance are young people, who experience their first love, entry into adulthood, worry for each other, dream and do not know yet, that the next day their lives will be ruined by war.

A deep bow to all those who fought for the Motherland on the fronts, helped to forge the Victory in the rear, those who defended our freedom at the cost of their lives!
