Lessons of Literary Writing in the Homeland of Sholokhov

During June 2–6, 2019, All-Russian School of Literary Writing for young writers of the South Federal District will take place in the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve. The classes will be gi ven by the literary journal “Moskva” (chief editor Vladislav Artyomov). It organizes two master-classes – poetry and prose.

The School is organized under the support of the Russian Book Union and the Foundation of Social-Economic and Intellectual Programs, and the Federal Press and Mass Media Agency. It will be joined by young writers from the Rostov and Volgograd regions, the Krasnodar Territory and the Crimean Republic. They will be given round tables, presentations of books published by the СЭИП Foundation based on the results of the international Forums of young writers of Russia, near and far foreign countries, and literary meetings.

The poetry master-class will be given by the poet and writer, journalist, chief editor of the journal “Moskva” Vladislav Artyomov, the prose master-class – by the writer, translator and literary scholar Vyacheslav Kiktenko.

The participants and organizers of the School will visit the exhibitions of the Museum-Reserve of M.A.Sholokhov and meet with the Museum authorities and workers.
