A Guest from Italy Visited “Sholokhov Spring”
28.05.2019On the day of “Sholokhov Spring” holiday, the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov was visited by Fabrizio Floris, a resident of Sardinia, Italy. The guest said that before visiting Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya he read again the novel “And Quiet Flows the Don” in English and was greatly impressed with it.
Not all the words turned clear for the resident of Sardinia and he asked to clarify their meaning. Fabrizio said he enjoyed the festival events he visited, learned about the life of Cossacks, listened to old Cossack songs and even learned one of them.
The guest from Italy made an entry in the Guest Book at the Estate of M.A.Sholokhov: “After reading “Tiki Don” I was overwhelmed with emotions… At the festival every song, every dance and every single custom is describing and recalling the word of this great writer in his Nobel Prize book. I strongly recommend a visit to this festival and to see the museum of Sholokhov is definitely a must. Fabrizio Floris. Sardinia. Italy”.
