Festival “Sholokhov Spring-2019”

During May 24–26, 2019, the All-Russian literary folklore festival “Sholokhov Spring” famous far beyond the Don country will take place again. It is dedicated to the birthday of the great Russian writer, the author of the legendary novel “And Quiet Flows the Don”. The festival is entered in the National Event Calendar, it is held under the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. It was awarded Grand-Prix National Award in the field of event tourism “Russian Event Awards” in the nomination “The Best Event in Culture” and Diploma of the National Award “Variety of the Mass Theatre”.

The festival is organized by the National M.A.Sholokhov Museum-Reserve, the Rostov Region Government and the Regional House of Folk Art.

The program of “Sholokhov Spring” includes a number of events covering Stanitsa Vyoshenskaya, Stanitsa Karghinskaya, Kruzhilin Village and Rostov-on-Don.
