NewsExhibition “The Victory Never Known by History”26.04.2019The guests of the literary ethnographic holiday “Steed is the Dearest for Cossack” (Cossack combat art of Vyoshenskaya) on May 5, 2019, will be able to attend the exhibition “The Victory Never Known by History” and take part in the workshop and museum class held by the museum workers at the exhibition. The exhibition shows front notes of the war correspondent Mikhail Sholokhov and his photos made during his stay at the Western front. One of the exhibition sections is devoted to the film “The Fate of a Man” made after the title short story of M.A.Sholokhov by the film director S.F.Bondarchuk and shown 60 years ago. You will learn about the history of creation of Sholokhov’s works devoted to the Great Patriotic War – the short stories “The Science of Hatred” and “The Fate of a Man”, and the unfinished novel “They Fought for Their Country”. Here, during the holiday dedicated to the Great Victory Day and the birthday of the writer and war veteran, the visitors will be able to buy greeting postcards and send them to their families and friends.
